Wakefield, MA New England Women’s Healthcare (NEWH) has expanded for the third time in six years. The suburban OB/GYN will open its third location next month within a custom-built 7,050 s/f facility at 60 Audubon Rd.
NEWH currently operates two existing practices, on Concord St., in Wilmington and Washington St., in Woburn. With the addition of the new location, it will operate a combined 21,000 s/f of medical space, all within Cummings Properties’ MetroNorth medical portfolio.
Founded in 2017, NEWH offers full-service preventive gynecological care, prenatal and obstetrics services, and personalized family planning. The practice is affiliated with Winchester Hospital.
Cummings vice president of leasing John Halsey and account manager Zachary Kohl worked directly with NEWH CEO Jody Blumberg on the expansion.
“We’ve been so pleased to support New England Women’s Healthcare through each stage of its continued growth,” said Halsey. “Great medical care is always in high demand. Thanks to our diverse holdings and design/build capabilities, we can reliably accommodate growing providers within our portfolio.”
According to Halsey, Cummings’ in-house teams completed significant construction to design and build a cutting-edge medical facility equipped for on-site exams, ultrasounds, and lab work as well as minimally invasive procedures.
NEWH’s new neighbors on Audubon Rd. include fellow wellness providers Empower Physical Therapy, Communitas, Tender Loving Care, and VCA Animal Hospitals.
Located on the Wakefield / Lynnfield line, the Audubon Rd. campus offers numerous conveniences, including an on-site daycare facility, access to I-93 and I-95, and close proximity to the shops and eateries at MarketStreet Lynnfield.
