What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? One of the projects I’m most proud of is an affordable housing development that added 50+ units to the community. It provided much-needed housing for individuals and families in need, making a meaningful impact. I’m especially passionate about projects that give back to the community, as they create lasting, positive change by improving quality of life, fostering stability, and offering opportunities for those who need them most. Seeing the direct impact on people’s lives makes this work incredibly rewarding.
Who or what has inspired you most in your career, and what advice would you share with the next generation of women entering the A/E/C industry? The superintendents in the field have inspired me by always encouraging my questions, sharing their knowledge, and fostering a sense of belonging. Their support has reinforced my confidence and growth in the industry. My advice to women entering the A/E/C industry is to speak with confidence, trust your knowledge, and never hesitate to contribute. Your voice and perspective are valuable. Embrace challenges, keep learning, and know that you belong.
What’s your favorite way to recharge or get inspired outside of work? Traveling and exploring new cultures, trying new foods, and getting lost in a good book recharge me.
