Braintree, MA Rockland Trust has appointed Drew Casey as vice president, commercial banking officer for the bank’s Braintree team. In this role, Casey will be responsible for developing new Commercial and Industrial (C&I) relationships across Greater Boston and the South Shore.
Before joining Rockland Trust, Casey served middle-market C&I customers at Brookline Bank for over eight years. Prior to working at Brookline Bank, he was a senior associate for B. Riley Financial, a boutique investment bank, in the firm’s advisory and valuation services group. Casey earned his bachelor of arts in economics from Loyola Marymount University. He currently serves on the alumni advisory council for his alma mater, B.C. High.
Rockland Trust has also appointed Edward Lomasney III as vice president, commercial banking officer for the bank’s growing north of Boston team. In this role, Lomasney will build relationships with mid-size companies across northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire.
Lomasney joins Rockland Trust with 23 years of experience within the financial services industry in the Greater Boston region. For the last eight years, he served as senior vice president, team leader of community business banking at Salem Five. In that role, Lomasney and his team built strong relationships with many businesses and investors across MA, NH & ME. Previously, he worked for seven years at Eastern Bank as senior vice president within in its business banking division. Lomasney is engaged in the local community, where he sits on the board of different organizations.
including the J.B. Thomas-Lahey Foundation, Peabody Main Streets, and the City of Peabody Retirement Board. Lomasney served as past president and executive board member of the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce and was heavily involved as a coach for various youth sports programs in the city.
