Avon, MA B.C. Tent & Awning, now celebrating 45 years in business, is springing into the warm weather season with a reorganized warehouse and refreshed office space.
In between various winter projects, the B.C. Tent & Awning team maintained their inventory tents and awnings by inspecting, cleaning, and repairing items to ensure all is in prime condition for the busy spring, summer, and fall seasons.
During the winter, B.C. Tent & Awning staff undertook the reorganization of their 25,000 s/f warehouse and implemented Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tagging. This technology uses radio waves to identify and track objects, enhancing inventory management.
Additionally, B.C. Tent & Awning has expanded its inventory to provide a wider selection for customers. The new inventory is designed to meet diverse needs, from small gatherings to large events, providing more options for customization.
The company also took advantage of the opportunity to refresh its office and walls, showcasing numerous articles that have chronicled B.C. Tent & Awning’s journey over the past 45 years. The articles highlight the company’s significant contributions and milestones since its establishment, underscoring its longstanding presence and impact in the industry.
