Turgeon named general manager of The Ritz-Carlton Residences

Boston, MA The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Boston, South Station Tower, developed by Hines, a global real estate investment manager, has named Brenda Turgeon to lead the property as residences general manager. A veteran of the Ritz-Carlton brand for over 20 years, Turgeon will oversee Ritz-Carlton’s 166 residential homes along with an extensive array of spectacular indoor and outdoor amenity spaces.

Turgeon has managed The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Boston South, developed by the Millennium Partners, on Avery St. since 2019, leading the luxury real estate property with excellence and earning The Ritz-Carlton brand’s Mustang Award in 2021 and coveted Property of the Year award in 2023. Prior to this role, she oversaw operations at The Ritz-Carlton, Boston, the neighboring Hotel for four years. Her incredible work with the brand has led her to this moment in which she’ll now lead the entire team at The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Boston, South Station Tower.

Turgeon grew up in Michigan and graduated from Michigan State in 1998. In 2003, after five years working in-state within the financial sector, she found her passion in hospitality and took a position with a local events company conceptualizing and executing themed social events. That same year, she also began working with The Ritz-Carlton as a banquet server for the hotel’s Deaborn property and later became the hotel’s meetings and special events manager. She moved to Philadelphia in 2006 where her career continued to thrive under The Ritz-Carlton brand, overseeing events and meetings for the hotel, and later becoming the Director of Hotel Operations. Turgeon transitioned to The Ritz-Carlton, Boston in 2015 where she held the same position leading the hotel’s $14 million renovation and managing all aspects of rooms and food & beverage for the property. She now moves over to The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Boston, South Station Tower to oversee the 166 residences in the luxury residential community.

When away from work, Turgeon enjoys time with her family and rarely misses a day in the gym. If she is not in the office, she can be found on the slopes of Vermont during ski season or enjoying the sunshine and waves of New England summer.

South Station Tower, designed by Pelli Clarke & Partners, is anticipated to open later this year. With 166 residential homes on the upper 16 floors, The Residences will provide owners with a distinctive luxury residential experience. The residential component of the tower will offer junior one-, one-, two- and three-bedroom residences along with penthouse duplex homes. Each home will offer unobstructed views and floor-to-ceiling glass windows with impeccable details designed by Jeffrey Beers International.

Residence owners will have exclusive access to an array of indoor and outdoor amenities on the 36th floor, and a nearly 1-acre private park on the 11th floor. Designed by OJB Landscape Architecture with health and wellness in mind, the Sky Park will be ingeniously programmed for a wide variety of outdoor uses, including meeting spaces, dining terrace, fire features, contemplative gardens, walking paths and activity lawns—providing a restorative urban oasis on-demand. The Grand Lobby, with its vast windows and monumental gold and silver-leaf gilded glass chandeliers, emulates a majestic extension of the adjacent Sky Park. With the concierge on hand to assist with whatever may be desired or needed, residents and their guests receive a true Ritz-Carlton Residences, Boston, South Station Tower welcome. On the 36th floor, The Club will be dedicated to several exciting amenity spaces intended for residents’ use and enjoyment. Residence owners will have exclusive access to a fully equipped fitness center with treatment rooms and saunas, two outdoor terraces supported by a chef’s kitchen, a 72’ outdoor swimming pool with stunning views of Boston’s Back Bay, a double-height library lounge with a central fireplace, and a game room featuring a sports simulator and bar space perfect for entertaining. A 9th-floor Terrace Restaurant will flow from indoors to outside for al-fresco dining.

Slated to welcome residents home in September 2025, The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Boston, South Station Tower are now accepting ownership contracts. Sales for South Station are being handled exclusively by the renowned, Boston-based firm, The Collaborative Companies (TCC) with TCC’s Cindy Dwyer and Manuel Davis leading the team.
