Waldman Assocs. brokers sale
of Dunkin’ Donuts and salon lease

May 23, 2025 - Retail

New Bedford, MA One of the original Dunkin’ Donuts, formerly located at 131 Nauset St. has been sold. The Dunkin’ relocated across the street to accommodate the growing demand for a larger drive-thru. The former site, a 2,300 s/f building showing signs of wear and tear, was sold in “as-is” condition for $490,000. The sale closed in May 2, 2025.

The buyer owns the adjacent retail plaza, which made this acquisition a strategic fit. “We received multiple offers, but felt this buyer was the best fit given the synergy with his existing property,” said Dan Waldman of Waldman Associates, who represented the seller and was the sole broker involved in the transaction.

In a separate deal, Waldman also leased space at 500 Providence Hwy. to Gus’s Barber Shop. Gus secured the prime corner unit, offering visibility from both Providence Hwy. and Eastern St. He completed a top-tier build-out, and despite doing no advertising, the salon has been busy since day one. Waldman was the only broker in this transaction as well.

Waldman also mentioned that he has several more closings scheduled, including a $5 million sale expected to close in late May.
