506 Main Street, Stockhouse Station - Westbrook, ME

Westbrook, ME Past + Future Craft Exchange has leased 1,355 s/f of retail space at 506 Main St., joining the tenant mix at Stockhouse Station. Mike Anderson of Malone Commercial Brokers represented the landlord, Stockhouse Station LLC; Joe Atwood of The Dunham Group represented the tenant.

The business, a creative reuse center offering secondhand and new textile craft supplies, classes, and community events, is relocating from the Dana Warp Mill to a larger, street-level space with off-street parking. The expansion will allow for extended hours, a dedicated classroom, and a wider variety inventory.

“This move is a big upgrade,” said owner Jo Bell. “I’m looking forward to being able to have the classroom set up all the time and offering more hours, more events, and more supplies now that Joann Fabrics is closing.”

“We’re excited to welcome Past + Future and its owner, Johanna, to Stockhouse Station,” said Anderson. “Her business is a perfect complement to our unique mix of office and service retail tenants and anchor restaurant tenant. Past + Future is one of several new additions to the property in recent months, reflecting the continued momentum and appeal of Stockhouse Station and the City of Westbrook as a whole.”

Other tenants that have recently joined Stockhouse Station include a real estate office, a board game bar and a small beauty spa. Anderson said that, “with just a few units left, it’s a great time for small businesses to reach out and see if one of the spaces could be the right fit.”
