Portland, ME Old Port Square has formed a collaboration with Fête Market for the launch of the Old Port Makers Market. Hosted by Fête Market, the Old Port Makers Market will bring together a handpicked selection of approximately 30+ local artists and makers to display and sell their wares in the city’s historic Old Port.

Old Port Square is a four-acre block within the city’s Old Port bounded by Middle, Union, Fore and Exchange Sts., featuring retail, restaurants, hotels, residences, offices, parking and outdoor community spaces throughout. Owned and managed by East Brown Cow, Old Port Square has been driven by the team’s longstanding commitment to strengthen the city’s urban fabric.

A family-friendly event, locals and visitors alike are invited to explore the curations of Fête Market, now being brought to life at Old Port Square.

Situated in the heart of the Old Port, this open-air market will introduce a new platform for makers and artists to present their work in a central, accessible space. For attendees, the Old Port Makers Market will offer a unique venue to experience local craftsmanship in a vibrant downtown setting. During the market, local makers will be selling handcrafted art, ceramics, jewelry, soaps, cutting boards, and more. Attendees will be able to meet the creators behind their work, shop curated goods, and dive into city’s cultural arts scene.

The Old Port Makers Market will be the first market of its kind in this outdoor space.

Fête Market is a curated, pop-up market experience that is dedicated to showcasing local artists and creatives. Each participating vendor is thoughtfully curated, and each market exhibits a unique selection of work. Visitors can expect to discover handcrafted pieces by local ceramicists, metalsmiths, woodworkers, weavers, jewelers, artists, and more.
