Freeport, ME DJSA Architecture PC, a full-service architectural firm specializing in hospitality, commercial, and corporate design, has completed two hotel renovation and conversion projects in partnership with JNR Management and Marriott International’s Select-Service brand team.

The projects involved the rebranding and renovation of existing hotel properties in Maine and New Hampshire, bringing them in line with Marriott’s latest design and operational standards.

SpringHill Suites, Freeport, a three-story hotel was redesigned and converted into a SpringHill Suites by Marriott. DJSA led a full renovation of guest rooms and public spaces, including the lobby, reception, dining, and fitness areas, all updated to meet SpringHill Suites brand requirements.

In Bedford, N.H. DJSA reconfigured a four-story hotel into a Four Points by Sheraton. The project included a complete overhaul of guest accommodations as well as expanded and renovated lobby, dining, and fitness spaces in line with Four Points brand standards.

Both projects were carried out with JNR Management, a long-time client of DJSA. Over the past decade, DJSA has completed multiple hotel renovations and conversions for JNR Management, strengthening a collaboration that has spanned several properties.

DJSA is also a Marriott Recommended Architect for Select-Service brands, recognized for its experience with brand standards and renovation requirements.
