What drew you to commercial real estate, and what keeps you passionate? After moving to New Hampshire from West Virginia and not having a rolodex, I saw commercial real estate as an opportunity to test my skills and resolve. I joined SVN due to its culture of empowering its advisors, collaboration and training. What keeps me passionate is my drive to be successful and show the world what I can do.

What advice would you give to a woman considering a career in commercial real estate? My advice would be to lead with confidence. Commercial real estate is a relationship-driven and often male-dominated industry, and it’s easy to second-guess yourself in the beginning. But if you’ve done the work and know your market, your perspective is valuable – so trust it and speak up. Don’t be afraid to take up space in the room, ask questions, and build your network. Confidence grows with experience, but it also comes from giving yourself permission to belong in every conversation.
