Old Saybrook, CT Ace Elite All Star Cheer and Tumbling is celebrating rapid growth with the opening of its second location at 309 Boston Post Rd. Founded less than five years ago in Madison, the cheer program has quickly become a shoreline success story.
The new facility is nearly four times larger than Ace Elite’s current training center. Owner and coach Brittany Delvecchio, known to her athletes as a “cheer visionary,” has transformed a former ambulance garage into a state-of-the-art competition gym. The space features a regulation competition spring floor, parent viewing area, athlete lounge, kitchen, offices, and upgraded amenities.
“We wanted to create not just a gym, but a home for athletes and their families,” said Delvecchio. “Old Saybrook is the perfect community for our next chapter.”
The Geenty Group, Realtors represented Ace Elite in the 11-month search for a facility with the ceiling heights, floor space, and amenities required for tumbling and competition. Kristin Geenty, SIOR, broker-in-charge, secured a five-year lease for two-thirds of the 6,000 s/f building. Sam Lyman of ReTrade represented the landlord, Hunter Services, LLC.
“Ace Elite’s expansion is a terrific example of entrepreneurial growth on the shoreline,” said Geenty. “They knew what their athletes needed, and we worked hard to find the right space to make it possible.”
