What is one major challenge you’ve overcome as a leader, and what did it teach you? When I began practicing law, leadership meant control of clients, revenue, and visibility. I learned true leadership is the opposite: it’s not about personal credit but advancing others so the firm grows beyond one person. Effective leaders delegate meaningful work, provide guidance, and trust their teams to build judgment and confidence. Hoarding limits the firm; sharing builds depth, continuity, and future leaders.

How do you inspire, motivate, or mentor others within your organization? Leadership means modeling integrity, excellence, and client service daily. We uphold ethics, earn trust, and stay composed under pressure. True leadership begins with personal excellence – delivering superior work, staying current, and showing discipline. Through mentorship, communication, and thoughtful delegation, we build ownership, judgment, and independence, fostering a culture that sustains talent and client confidence.

What book, podcast, or app has most influenced your approach to leadership? Good to Great taught true leadership means firm success over personal glory - client first, not self.
