Welcome to Warwick, which offers the convenience of city living in a small-town atmosphere, thanks in part to our more than 30 villages, each with a unique place in our community’s history. Exceptional municipal services, terrific recreational facilities, good schools, and a diverse housing mix that offers a good quality of life in safe neighborhoods have long been a hallmark of our community.

But it may very well be our beautiful parks, pools, beaches, miles of biking and walking trails, ice rinks, modern playgrounds, golf courses, horseback riding, historical sites, 39 miles of coastline, and plenty of year-round, family-friendly, affordable activities that draw people to our community. Whatever the reason, once you visit here, you’ll see why so many people and businesses are eager to make Warwick their home.

Locals have long known that our central location makes Warwick an ideal community in which to live, and, if necessary, commute to jobs in neighboring Massachusetts and Connecticut with ease. And in the past several years particularly, more and more out-of-state people searching for a new place to call home and developers who recognize that convenient access is a great marketing asset are also looking right here in Warwick to meet their needs.

The city’s mix of manufacturers and a diverse business base means there are generally a variety of available leasing and purchasing options for commercial properties. Many investors and developers have also been taking advantage of opportunities to revitalize and repurpose existing buildings into new residential units or reimagined commercial space.

For travel convenience for out-of-state clients or co-workers coming into town from other regions, Warwick’s hard to beat. We’re home to Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport, which was voted the “Top Domestic Airport” inTravel + Leisure’s“World’s Best Awards 2025” readers’ survey. Business travelers will find it easy to pick up their rental car at the InterLink, where service counters and operations are located, or hail a cab or catch a bus to most cities and towns in the state from either the airport or InterLink intermodal rail facility. With its MBTA service, the InterLink also makes commuting to Warwick easy, and we additionally boast easy on-off access to I-95 and I-295 – meaning we’re a quick 15-minute drive from Providence, an hour from Boston, and three hours from New York City. All of which makes Warwick a smart choice to start up or relocate a business.
