Episcope Hospitality to debut three new dining concepts at South Station Tower
Boston, MA According to Hines, the global real estate investment manager, Episcope Hospitality, will introduce three signature food and beverage destinations at South Station Tower, the recently completed and transformative 51-story mixed-use tower situated over one of the city’s most connected and active transit. The trio of concepts will create a dining experience designed to serve the building’s office tenants, residents, and the surrounding community from morning to night.
“Episcope Hospitality’s proven ability to create vibrant, community-driven dining destinations make them an ideal partner for South Station Tower,” said Sarah Hawkins, senior managing director and head of Hines’ US East market. “These exciting new dining concepts will not only enhance the tenant and resident experience but also further solidify South Station Tower’s position as a premier destination within Boston’s evolving downtown.”
Episcope’s newest dining destinations: The Moseley, Proper Fare, and the signature bar & lounge are slated to open in spring of 2026.
Episcope’s full-service restaurant, The Moseley, will anchor the tower’s culinary program with casual fine dining that blends sophistication and warmth. Named for Alex Moseley, a 19th-century leather dealer who helped define the character of the building’s neighboring Leather District, the restaurant will offer a welcoming retreat above the bustle of South Station, perfect for business lunches, social dinners, or private events. The menu will showcase a range of refined and approachable dishes, complemented by a selection of inventive cocktails.
Proper Fare, an all-day café and market, will bring gourmet convenience to daily life with coffee, sandwiches, salads, and chef-prepared grab-and-go selections. Designed for ease and comfort, it will cater to guests throughout the workday and beyond, offering an elevated yet approachable dining experience.
A signature bar & lounge will be a sophisticated extension of The Moseley, offering a space that transitions throughout the day. Both a retreat and a point of connection, it will offer tenants, residents, and visitors an inviting setting for everything from a mid-day coffee to an evening cocktail, supported by a curated beverage program and a refined atmosphere. The official name of the bar & lounge will be announced at a later date.
“Boston is a city that values authenticity and excellence, two qualities that define how we approach hospitality,” said David Morton, co-founder and CEO of Episcope Hospitality. “South Station Tower is the perfect canvas: a place where history meets innovation, and where a true sense of community can thrive. We’re honored to help shape the culinary and social identity of such a transformative project.”
Together, these three concepts will offer the full spectrum of modern dining – quick yet thoughtful, elegant and welcoming – creating a vibrant gathering place for residents, Boston diners and visitors alike. Residents and tenants of South Station Tower will also enjoy exclusive amenities such as catering, in-home dining service, priority reservations, preferred pricing, and daily programming, all of which underscore Hines’ and Episcope’s shared vision for a connected, hospitality-driven workplace and home environment.
South Station Tower marks Episcope’s entry into the Boston market, bringing the company’s nationally recognized hospitality concepts to a city celebrated for its blend of innovation and tradition. The Chicago-based firm, known for transforming high-traffic environments into dynamic gathering places, including The Landing above Penn Station in New York and 2011 Crystal Drive in National Landing, saw Boston as a natural fit for its newest concepts. The project also reflects Morton’s longstanding connection to the city and his appreciation for its cultural and culinary landscape.
