CBRE brokers sale of 153,416 s/f Whole Foods-anchored retail center

Stamford, CT Jeffrey Dunne, David Gavin and Travis Langer of CBRE’s National Retail Partners represented HBS Global Properties LLC in the sale of 110 High Ridge Rd. The team also procured the buyer, 110 High Ridge Owner LLC.
110 High Ridge Rd. is a 153,416 s/f Whole Foods-anchored retail center situated at the crossroads of High Ridge and Long Ridge Rds., two major commuter arteries. The property was formerly a Lord & Taylor store and it is in the process of being repositioned into a multi-tenant retail center. Whole Foods opened in December 2024 and Saks OFF 5TH relocated to 110 High Ridge from the Stamford Town Center Mall in 2022.
110 High Ridge Rd. is surrounded by residential neighborhoods with average household incomes exceeding $188,000 within five miles. Its accessibility from Long Ridge and High Ridge Rd. and the Merritt Pwky. enable it to draw from a wide trade area within Fairfield County and into Westchester County.
Dunne said, “The center’s ‘main and main’ location within the dominant retail corridor in the market, combined with its strong anchor tenancy and surrounding demographics, will help the buyer complete the repositioning and lease-up of the center.”
Gavin said, “We continue to see strong demand in Metro NY for properties like 110 High Ridge Rd., which provide a unique combination of having Whole Foods as its anchor with significant value-add through lease up of the remaining vacancy.”
