AHSC names Benjamin as an assistant development manager

Braintree, MA According to Affordable Housing and Services Collaborative, Inc. (AHSC), a nonprofit organization that owns and develops affordable rental communities, has added Shanon-Imani Benjamin as an assistant development manager.

In this role, she will assist the organization on multiple project initiatives that support AHSC’s development team. She will work with a variety of key stakeholders in all phases of the real estate development process from project concept to completion.

Before joining AHSC, Benjamin served as a project engineer with Davis Construction in Rockville, MD. Earlier in her career, she worked as a real estate development associate with Dantes Partners in Washington, D.C.

She is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and Women of Color in Community Development (WCCD), REEC mentee, a graduate of Project REAP, and an honorary Open Access fellow. Additionally, she played a key role in launching POIEMA Development Group, LLC based in Orange, New Jersey.

A resident of Quincy, Massachusetts, Benjamin is an avid equestrian and an advocate for the fine arts.
