Portsmouth, RI Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty  negotiated the sale of 230 Briarwood Ln. for $4.5 million. The sellers were represented by  Joseph Costa and Kylie McCollough, both sales associates of Mott & Chace Sotheby’s International Realty. Benjamin Willett of Serhant Rhode Island represented the buyers.

According to data from the Multiple Listing Service, this is the highest sale in Portsmouth since the sale of 483 Vanderbilt Ln. in December of 2024 in which McCollough also represented clients.

“Sea Farm”, an eight-acre estate designed by Estes Twombly Architects, blends modern style with New England charm. Views over gardens and conservation land flow into the indoor-outdoor living in which the home has a Solisysteme pergola, 2,000 s/f granite terrace, and a saltwater pool. A separate four-car garage with a studio apartment adds versatility for guests or creative work.

“Bringing Sea Farm to market was an honor,” said Costa. “The home’s design, craftsmanship, and natural setting created an experience that captivated buyers instantly. It’s a rare property that perfectly balances modern luxury with timeless New England charm.”

“Sea Farm offers the rare union of privacy, coastal elegance, and contemporary design, an architectural estate of exceptional caliber,” said McCollough. “It was a privilege to represent this extraordinary property and, for the second consecutive year, achieve the highest sale in Portsmouth for my clients. My clients trust me with one of their most significant assets, and I honor that trust with strategy, discretion, and an unwavering commitment to results. Combined with the unmatched global exposure and elevated marketing Sotheby’s provides, we are able to showcase properties with a reach and sophistication no other brand can offer.”
