Cummings Properties signs American Surgical Co. to 20,325 s/f lease at Cummings Center

Beverly, MA American Surgical Company has relocated its international operation from Salem to Beverly, leasing a 20,325 s/f headquarters at 100 Cummings Center. The medical tools manufacturer is currently transitioning its workforce from Shetland Park to the new custom-built research and development facility.
For more than 35 years, American Surgical Company has specialized in sustainably produced single-use surgical tools and specialty devices. All products are manufactured in the United States at the firm’s headquarters and distributed globally across more than 70 countries and six continents.
Cummings Properties business development director Al Diamond worked with Cresa managing principals Joe Doyle and John Coakley on the deal.

Cummings Properties’ in-house design and construction teams completed a build-out, reconfiguring the space to accommodate American Surgical Company’s administrative offices, research functions, and shipping and storage operations.
