2026 Women in Construction: Lynsey Coville, Auburn Construction

What do you wish more women knew about the opportunities available in the construction industry today? There are endless opportunities and truly a space for everyone. From the office positions to out in the field, there is always room for growth. It’s an industry that is constantly evolving and we need more women to help define what that looks like.

What is one piece of advice or perspective you would share with women beginning their careers in the construction industry? Jump in, ask questions, speak your mind. Always know that you are an important part of the team. Spend time out in the field on job sites as well as in the office to have a well-rounded understanding of how jobs flow from start to finish.

What is something outside of work that brings you energy, balance or creativity? Teaching fitness classes outside of work gives me energy, balance, and a creative outlet.
