2026 Women in Construction: Nada Jaber, NEI General Contracting
Project Manager
NEI General Contracting
Project or accomplishment you’re most excited about: I’m wrapping up an occupied rehab project in Roxbury, MA, and I’m really proud of how it’s turned out. It’s the first project where I’ve been the sole project manager, and I’m proud of what my team was able to accomplish together. This one means a lot to us. At its core, it’s about investing back into the Roxbury community by upgrading housing units. Many members of our team are from the area or nearby, so there’s a real personal connection to the work and the impact it’s making.
Emerging challenge or opportunity ahead: Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is AI. While construction hasn’t adopted it as quickly as some other industries, that also means there’s a lot of opportunity ahead of us.
Personally, I’ve been taking the initiative to learn more about AI and explore how it can be applied in the construction field. I’ve been taking courses and researching how other companies are using it, with the goal of finding practical ways it can improve efficiency, planning, and overall project delivery.
What brings you balance or creativity: I enjoy painting, especially abstract art. It gives me a way to connect with myself and think creatively without limits.
