What current or recently completed project, accomplishment or initiative are you most excited about, and why does it matter for your team, clients or community? Having the opportunity to manage a project out of the ground - the lab development for Anchor Line at 245 5th Ave. - was daunting at times, challenging at times, but most of all thrilling! There is something so special about watching your work come to life, from breaking ground, through steel erection and through the build out of lab space, which is a cool project just on its own. The feeling is not dissimilar from how I feel watching my own sons grow!

What is one piece of advice or perspective you would share with women beginning their careers in the construction industry? Find a good mentor(s). Be open to who could fill this role and that it doesn’t have to be someone on the same career path as you intend, i.e. you may be in ops but your mentor could be someone decades into their field career or a sub PM.

What is something outside of work that brings you energy, balance or creativity? My annual Girls Trip with my best friends. Just the planning process for the actual trip provides such a recharge for me!
