2026 Women in Construction: Molly Knowles, CM&B
Account Executive
CM&B
What current or recently completed project, accomplishment or initiative are you most excited about, and why does it matter for your team, clients or community? One of the projects I’m most proud of was helping CM&B earn a seat at the table with a new defense contractor. The proposal process required an extraordinary level of effort, collaboration, and attention to detail, and regardless of the final outcome, what we accomplished together set a standard we strive to meet with every opportunity. Seeing firsthand how each individual contributed to positioning CM&B for excellence reinforced a strong belief: the best sales organizations aren’t built by closers alone – they’re built by teams that win together.
What do you wish more women knew about the opportunities available in the construction industry today? I wish more women knew that the construction industry today provides a wide range of opportunities, flexibility, and the chance to make a real impact. It’s also an industry where you can see the tangible results of your work. You’re helping shape communities, critical infrastructure, and workplaces in ways that genuinely matter. That sense of purpose is incredibly motivating.
What habit or routine helps you stay focused or motivated during a busy week? Waking up before anyone else, getting a good workout in, and enjoying a quiet cup of coffee helps me set the tone for the day.
What is something outside of work that brings you energy, balance or creativity? Outside of work, my kids give me energy and balance. They keep me grounded, motivated, and remind me to stay present.
