What do you wish more women knew about the opportunities available in the construction industry today? I wish more women knew how many exciting and impactful opportunities exist in construction today. This industry has given me the chance to lead teams, influence design and shape communities – and the same opportunities are available to women at every stage of their careers. With growing mentorship and leadership programs, there’s never been a better time for women to step in and help define the future of the built environment.

What emerging challenge or opportunity do you see shaping the construction industry in the next few years, and how are you preparing for it? For me, the most powerful opportunity ahead is how AI and advanced technology can transform the way we design and deliver buildings. I’ve seen firsthand – in our federal pursuits, design-build work and major infrastructure programs – how these tools can streamline coordination and elevate design quality. But what excites me most is that the technology only becomes meaningful when paired with our people. That’s why I’m focused on developing talent, breaking down silos and building multidisciplinary teams that are ready to lead in an AI-enabled future.

What is something outside of work that brings you energy, balance or creativity? Restoring my historic home and collecting antiques. It reminds me why thoughtful, enduring design matters.
