BOMA Boston Update - BOMA Benefit, Networking Nite, BOMI class and a TOBY Tutorial!

Boston, MA BOMA Benefit 2026 brought together members of the commercial real estate community for an unforgettable evening of connection, generosity, and purpose. Held on March 20th at the Seaport Hotel, the annual event welcomed industry leaders, partners, and supporters in support of Bridge Over Troubled Waters. The evening featured casino games, dancing, fun food stations and raffle prizes, creating an engaging atmosphere while highlighting the power of the BOMA community to make a meaningful difference. Thanks to the generosity of attendees, sponsors, and donors who made this a fantastic evening!

BOMA Boston is hosting a networking Nite at ReelHouse in East Boston on Tuesday, April 7th from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Registration is open for both members and nonmembers of BOMA. We hope you can join us for a fun evening of networking, appetizers and refreshments!

BOMI: Environmental Health & Safety Issues is kicking off on Wednesday April 8th and will end Friday April 10th. This is an accelerated class via Zoom from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Environmental Health & Safety Issues presents best practices for developing and managing an effective environmental health and safety program. You will learn about the regulatory process and how it affects facilities. Compliance with laws and regulations is a key focus. The course will prepare you to conduct site assessments, analyze risk, and cooperate with compliance audits. The course also guides learners through the planning process to mitigate the risk from any workplace emergency, specifically addressing hazardous materials, air quality, water pollution, asbestos and lead hazards, and tank management. The BOMA Programs & Education Committee is hosting a roundtable on April 14th from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. With April being Earth Month, the roundtable will be on Environmental Awareness & Sustainability in CRE. Join us for an engaging roundtable discussion focused on advancing environmental awareness and sustainability within the commercial real estate industry. This collaborative session will bring together industry professionals to share insights, challenges, and innovative strategies for reducing environmental impact, improving energy efficiency, and creating more sustainable properties. BOMA Boston is hosting the BOMA TOBY Tutorial on Tuesday, April 28th virtual via Zoom from 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. This workshop will provide valuable steps and helpful tips to strengthen your TOBY entry. This new presentation will give a detailed look at each section in a TOBY Awards entry and have a live Q & A at the end with BOMA Staff and TOBY Committee members. Perfect for first-time submitters or as a refresher for those entering this year! Registration is complimentary for both BOMA members and non members.
