What inspired you to pursue a career in your industry, and what path brought you to your current role? Growing up, I lived right next to the airport in Manchester, NH. At the time, the airport was expanding, and there were infrastructure projects taking place all over the neighborhood. I watched the progress every day as they expanded runways, upgraded drainage systems, and built the Raymond Wieczorek Drive bridge in my backyard. My interest in these projects led me to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering at UNH. During an internship my junior year, I realized I was more interested in construction than design engineering, which ultimately led me to a career in CM.
What accomplishment or project so far in your career are you most proud of? In 2018 I had the opportunity to volunteer as a Project Manager for Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors. In this role, I worked with our subcontractor partners, the Carpenters Union Training Center, the leadership at JAH4WW, and countless volunteers to help build a mortgage-free, handicap-accessible home for a wounded Iraqi War veteran, Paul Skarinka. The day we turned the keys over to Paul and his family was the most rewarding day of my life, and I am honored to have had the opportunity to partner with such an incredible organization and so many selfless volunteers along the way.
