“Pamela is an excellent issue spotter with an intuitive sense for legal strategy. She is incredibly skilled at finding solutions to difficult legal hurdles and presenting options to clients in an understandable manner. New attorneys frequently lack the confidence to offer recommendations to senior attorneys or to suggest more productive strategies. Pamela confidently uses her voice to achieve the best results for the client- an ultimate sign of an attorney with great potential.”

What inspired you to pursue a career in your industry, and what path brought you to your current role? In college, I was a journalism major and philosophy minor but became drawn to law because it combined the best of each of these disciplines. Practicing law requires a strong foundation of practical skills (fact gathering, research, and analysis) but equally requires the ability to think creatively and be persuasive. I’m continually inspired because from now until the end of my career I can use and grow these skills to learn and become a better client advocate. I’m extremely fortunate that my colleagues and mentors at Davis Malm share the same mindset.

What accomplishment or project so far in your career are you most proud of? In a case involving the breach of a Purchase Agreement due to alleged environmental conditions, I formulated a strategy demonstrating that our client did not breach the agreement. This eventually led to our client receiving the return of its deposit. I also assisted in drafting a successful brief for the Appeal’s Court, including the key recent case law that was central to our victory. I have strategized litigation paths that have led to several advantageous settlements, mediations or other wins for our clients. I assisted in fixing title issues for several clients.

In 2025, Pamela was selected by Thomson Reuters as a Super Lawyers Rising Start. She was also a finalist for the American Legal Media’s 2025 Most Promising Newcomer. Pamela served as a judicial intern and law clerk to the Honorable Howard P. Speicher (ret.) at the Massachusetts Land Court, where she refined her ability to draft complicated legal memoranda involving statutes, regulations and case law. Recognizing her incredible legal skills and talents, Judge Speicher encouraged Pamela to go into private practice, and, as a former Davis Malm shareholder for nearly 30 years, Judge Speicher specifically recommended that Pamela consider Davis Malm because of the professional development opportunities and mentorship she would get at the firm. Judge Speicher also strongly encouraged the firm to consider Pamela as an associate because of her innate ability to interpret and digest the law and think creatively.
