What accomplishment or project so far in your career are you most proud of? One project I’m especially excited to see coming online this year is the Franklin Cummings Tech solar project. Having a solar installation on the roof of a technical school gives students real, handson exposure to the kinds of careers they’re training for and we can always use more folks in this field. It’s not just infrastructure; it’s a builtin teaching tool, which makes the impact even more meaningful

What trends or opportunities do you see shaping the future of the industry? I see major opportunities coming from new construction where evolving policies around solar, battery energy storage, next generation electric and building codes, and netzero requirements are shaping the market. Solar is becoming a standard part of building design, and there’s real value in getting solar professionals involved early to help projects meet both regulatory requirements and performance goals. For building owners, it’s a triplebottomline opportunity: lowering operating costs, strengthening longterm asset value, and delivering meaningful environmental benefits.

What inspired you to pursue a career in this industry, and what path brought you to your current role? I was drawn to commercial real estate through solar construction because it allows me to be part of building real, physical solutions to our environmental and energy challenges. Commercial projects are exciting because one building can drive significant utility savings and meaningful reductions in greenhouse gas emissions. My background in community clean energy projects translated naturally into this work, and I enjoy using an educational, relationshipdriven approach to help stakeholders navigate complex decisions.
