What inspired you to pursue a career in your industry, and what path brought you to your current role? My path into commercial real estate evolved naturally from my construction-focused legal practice. I regularly work with developers and contractors operating in the commercial space, and many of our residential clients also have business and commercial property needs. Expanding into commercial real estate allowed me to provide more comprehensive, full-service support that bridges both sectors.

Who has been a mentor or influential figure in your career, and what is the most valuable advice they have shared with you? One of the most influential figures in my career is Drew Colby, the first attorney I worked for out of law school. I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor. He treated me as an equal from day one – not just an associate. He valued my knowledge, always asked for my input, and ensured I was always respected. His most valuable advice was that it’s okay to tell a client you don’t have an immediate answer, so long as you commit to finding it. Clients respect honesty far more than uncertainty.
