Integlia & Co., LeCesse Development and Callahan Construction Managers break ground on 297-unit Skye City Centre residential community

Warwick, RI Michael Integlia & Company and LeCesse Development launched construction at the Skye City Centre residential community, with a ceremonial groundbreaking event. Callahan Construction Managers is overseeing construction of this 297-unit luxury apartment and mixed-use development project.
The project will feature a connected five level, 437-space parking garage, along with ground floor retail tenants. Skye City Centre will be a market leader in providing a lifestyle experience distinguished by its open floor plans, rich amenities, and unmatched convenience to all that the city has to offer. Former Rhode Island governor Lincoln Chafee, whose administration supported the creation of the original Warwick City Centre district, attended the event, along with mayor Frank Picozzi.
Michael Integlia, Jr., president and CEO, Michael Integlia & Co. and Salvador Leccese, president and founder, LeCesse Development, were also on hand for the ceremony. Other guests included Patrick Callahan, president, Callahan Construction; state representative and speaker of the house Joseph Shekarchi; city council president Anthony Sinapi; councilman Bryan Nappa; community leaders; and project team members.
When complete, the four-story, elevator-serviced building will feature a mix of one- and two-bedroom residences with high-end interior finishes such as Italian cabinetry, wood plank-style flooring, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a host of home technology features including smart locks, access controls and property-wide WiFi. This transit-oriented development located near Rhode Island TF Green International Airport will also provide access to job opportunities and entertainment in Providence and Boston, along with the ability to connect to the nearby MBTA commuter rail station.
The project architect is 5G Studio Collaborative.
