Stamford, CT CBRE has completed 54,000 s/f in new leases and renewals at Stamford Plaza, a four-building, one million s/f office campus located alongside I-95 and close to the Stamford Transportation Center. Stamford Plaza is home to companies ranging from asset managers and financial services firms to life sciences, consumer product and media companies. An effective partnership of CBRE, RFR and Trigild allows Stamford Plaza to pursue new tenants and retain existing ones.

The CBRE team of David Block, Jacqueline Novotny, and Joseph Weaver lead the leasing campaign at the office complex.

“Major office tenants continue to make long-term commitments at this iconic campus in Stamford’s central business district,” said Block. “Substantial capital has been earmarked to meet tenant demands and ensure that Stamford Plaza operates at the highest standard – making it an easy decision for CBRE to move our office there.”

Among the largest new leases signed at the complex is a 9,505 s/f lease by CBRE, which will be relocating its office to part of the 14th floor of 3 Stamford Plaza from 201 Tresser Blvd. Other new commitments include a 2,409 s/f lease by Shay Capital and a 2,478 s/f lease by Hudson Ferry Capital at 1 Stamford Plaza. Lease renewals include 23,961 s/f by Hexcel, 6,167 s/f by a financial institution, and 2,340 s/f by Trisura at 2 Stamford Plaza, as well as 6,840 s/f by an investment management firm at 1 Stamford Plaza.

“Stamford Plaza continues to stand out as a premier destination in the Stamford top tier office market, driven by its prime location, robust amenity offering and unwavering commitment of ownership to deliver an exceptional tenant experience,” said JoAnn McGrath of RFR.

Stamford Plaza features a 2.5-acre landscaped plaza with gardens, a putting green, bocce court, fountains, outdoor dining, and an array of seating options, an alfresco environment in which tenants can work or unwind. RFR recently executed a significant capital improvement campaign at the complex that included dramatic new lobbies for 3 and 4 Stamford Plaza, with rift sawn white oak and Verdi marble.

The campus also features the Terrace Café, a 130-seat restaurant designed by Meaghan Apfel’s Carnelian Studio and operated by Guckenheimer, an award-winning international catering firm that specializes in creating custom dining experiences for corporate users. Other amenities at the complex include a modern fitness center, teleconferencing centers, shuttles and black car service to the nearby train station, ATM, car wash and dry-cleaning.
