Providence, RI Sweeney Real Estate & Appraisal facilitated a lease transaction at 56 Exchange Terrace, Suite 300, marking the relocation of financial planning and investment management firm Brown Lisle/Cummings. Rhode Island’s oldest independently owned investment firm, Brown Lisle/Cummings has served clients for more than a century.

The move marks the first time the firm has relocated since its founding in 1912, when it established its offices at the historic Turks Head Building at 76 Westminster St. in downtown.

Partner, financial advisor, and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP) Clifford Tracy, Jr. said, “Moving after 113 years is not a decision you make overnight. With multiple partners involved and over a century of history at 76 Westminster, we spent several years making sure we found the right fit for our firm and our clients. Kevin Casey was an invaluable resource throughout the process and helped us navigate this transition to find a space that reflects who we are and where we’re headed.”

Casey of Sweeney Real Estate & Appraisal represented Brown Lisle/Cummings in this transaction. The firm will begin operations from 56 Exchange Terrace immediately.
