Burlington, MA Linear Retail Properties has promoted Greg Drocz to chief operating officer, Lauren Rogers to senior vice president of asset management, and Chris Scharff to senior vice president of portfolio management.

In his new role, Drocz will oversee the company’s day-to-day operations and drive the execution of strategic initiatives across all business functions. He will work closely with the leadership team to optimize processes, enhance operational efficiency, and support the continued growth of Linear’s portfolio and platform.

Drocz joined Linear Retail in 2011 as an acquisitions analyst, where he was responsible for underwriting and due diligence activities. In 2014, he transitioned to asset management, leading strategic planning and execution for assets throughout Greater Boston, Eastern Mass., and New Hampshire. Over his 15-year tenure, he has developed a comprehensive understanding of the business through leadership roles spanning acquisitions, asset management, and operations.

As SVP of asset management, Rogers leads Linear Retail’s asset management team and is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and performance of the company’s retail portfolio. She works closely with the leasing, marketing, property management, and investment teams to develop and execute asset-level strategies that drive value creation and support the long-term objectives of the portfolio.

In addition, Rogers serves as co-lead of the company’s culture and team building initiatives.

Rogers joined Linear Retail as an asset manager in 2014 and was promoted to vice president of asset management in 2019. Prior to joining Linear, Rogers spent nearly a decade in the retail and restaurant industries in New York City, holding real estate leadership roles at Le Pain Quotidien and Blink Fitness (Equinox). During that time, she led expansion efforts, site selection, and lease negotiations across multiple major markets, including New York City, Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and Los Angeles.

Scharff oversees the company’s investment and capital markets activities, including acquisitions, dispositions, debt financing, and lender relationships, as well as risk management, portfolio analysis, research, and strategic initiatives.

Since joining Linear Retail in 2022, Scharff has played a key role in supporting the company’s financial and investment objectives. Prior to joining Linear, he spent more than a decade in finance and investment roles with private equity and real estate investment and development firms, including Cabot Properties, Waterstone Properties, WJP Development, and KeyPoint Partners.

Co-CEO’s Joel Kadis and Aubrey Cannuscio said, “These promotions reflect the talent, leadership, and dedication that Greg, Lauren, and Chris have demonstrated throughout their careers at Linear Retail. We are excited to recognize their contributions and look forward to their continued impact as we execute on our long-term growth strategy.”
