Centennial expands northeast presence with management contract of The SoNo Collection
Norwalk, CT Centennial, a national retail real estate owner and operator, has been awarded the management contract for The SoNo Collection, a premier luxury and lifestyle shopping center.
Under the agreement, effective immediately, Centennial will assume responsibility for day-to-day operations at the property, including property management, marketing, and accounting.
Spanning more than 700,000 s/f, The SoNo Collection is New England’s newest large-scale retail destination and a cornerstone of the South Norwalk neighborhood. Since its opening in 2019, the center has emerged as a premier destination for the region’s “Gold Coast” market, offering a curated mix of premium, contemporary, and lifestyle brands.
“We are proud to have been selected and entrusted to lead The SoNo Collection into it’s next chapter,” said Paul Kurzawa, president of Centennial.
“This is a truly exceptional asset that has redefined the retail experience in Connecticut. Our focus will be on building upon the center’s strong foundation, driving sustained traffic growth, and deepening its role as a community anchor.”
The property is anchored by southern Connecticut’s only Nordstrom and the state’s only Bloomingdale’s, and features a strong lineup of globally recognized retailers, including Apple, Zara, H&M, Sephora, and Arhaus.
The SoNo Collection will remain open and fully operational throughout the transition, continuing to deliver a seamless experience for guests and retail partners alike.
Centennial brings a comprehensive third-party management platform to the assignment, combining strategic merchandising, experiential marketing, customized placemaking, and data-driven leasing with a deep commitment to community connection. Its in-house teams are experienced in guiding high-quality retail assets through evolving market conditions while positioning them for long-term success.
Centennial operates more than 25 million s/f of retail destinations across 18 states. In the Northeast, the firm also manages Connecticut Post Mall in Milford, CT; Trumbull Mall in Trumbull, CT; and Providence Place in Providence, RI.
