Gardner of DMG Brokerage sold 991-1001 Boylston St. for $2.125 million

Newton, MA Daniel Gardner, founder of DMG Brokerage sold 991-1001 Boylston St. for $2.125 million. Gardner represented the buyer GS Boylston 991 LLC. It was an off market sale, the property was fully occupied and the buyer plans to hold onto the property and increase the market rents. 

The seller owned the property for more than 30 years. When Gardner founded DMG Brokerage in 2012, one of their first assignments was assisting with leasing several vacant spaces within the property. Two tenants they helped place in 2014 – Spanish Immersion Montessori School (SIMS) and Apex Velo – remain in operation at the property today.

SIMS was one of the very first transactions DMG Brokerage completed and represented an important early milestone for the company. More than a decade later, having the opportunity to assist in the sale of the same property brings that story full circle. It is particularly rewarding to see businesses they helped establish continue to thrive while also helping ownership successfully transition an asset they stewarded for over three decades.
