DiPrete Engineering delivers comprehensive engineering for 50 North Apartments in North Kingstown, RI

North Kingstown, RI DiPrete Engineering delivered comprehensive engineering for 50 North Apartments, a multifamily residential community developed by Tony Fiore that supports both housing growth and affordability in the region. Located at 50 South County Trail, the project adds thoughtfully planned housing while addressing environmental and regulatory considerations specific to the site.
The development consists of 88 apartment units across 22 quad-plex buildings. As part of the comprehensive permit process, 25% of the units (22 apartments) are designated as low- and moderate-income housing, supporting statewide efforts to expand access to affordable housing while integrating seamlessly into the surrounding community.
DiPrete Engineering provided full survey, civil engineering, environmental permitting, and construction observation services for the project, supporting the development from initial planning through construction. The DiPrete team worked closely with project stakeholders to ensure the design and construction met all local and state requirements while maintaining efficiency and constructability.
Because the site is located within the town’s Groundwater Protection Overlay district, the project required advanced wastewater treatment solutions. The development utilizes cutting-edge septic technology designed to achieve a 75% reduction in nitrogen, significantly reducing environmental impact and protecting local groundwater resources.
50 North Apartments highlights DiPrete Engineering’s ability to deliver comprehensive engineering services for multifamily residential developments, particularly in environmentally sensitive areas. Through coordinated design, innovative infrastructure solutions, collaboration with state and local regulators, and consistent construction support, the project reflects DiPrete’s continued role in helping communities grow responsibly while meeting critical housing needs.
