It was a picture perfect day on June 24, adding to the enjoyment of our
IREM Boston Chapter’s Spirit of Boston Boat Luncheon
and Installation meeting – there were smiling faces all around!

A career in property management is much more than overseeing buildings; it’s also about shaping communities, elevating living experiences, and creating environments where people can thrive.

I’ve seen first-hand how this profession blends leadership, problem solving, and human connection. It’s a field where dedication is recognized, advancement is attainable, and every challenge presents an opportunity to learn.

At IREM Boston, we’re preparing the next generation of property managers by investing in education, professional development, and real world industry exposure. Our chapter offers learning opportunities for every stage of a career in property management – from industry newcomers to seasoned professionals.

Our educational track includes courses for industry credentials, including CPM and ARM and AcoM. Scholarships are available to IREM Boston members through the national IREM Foundation, which provides financial assistance for those pursuing above-mentioned credentials.

Our seminars on wide-ranging subjects from rent control ballot measures to regulatory impacts help future property managers understand the legal environment shaping property operations.

We also frequently host skill-building workshops on industry-related subjects, such as operations, finance, maintenance, and leadership. Our regular monthly meetings create a welcoming place for members to connect, collaborate, and share best practices.

Don’t get the idea that we’re all about business – we make time for fun, too!

Alongside our educational programs and professional development, we bring members together through holiday celebrations, charity events, a variety of social outings, and our ever-popular harbor cruise!

A career in property management is full of possibility and purpose, and at our IREM Boston chapter, we’re committed to helping members realize their potential. Through education, industry insight, and a supportive community, we’re preparing the next generation to lead.

Whether you’re just beginning your journey or advancing to the next level, at IREM Boston you’ll find the resources, connections, and the inspiration to thrive!
