The Hamilton Co. completes lease agreement with Raspberry Beret at 1111 Commonwealth Ave.
Allston, MA The Hamilton Company has completed a commercial lease agreement with Raspberry and its occupancy of 1,867 s/f at 1111 Commonwealth Ave. The vintage clothing retailer previously had a location on 386 Cambridge St. The grand opening for the new location was July 11.
“Our lease agreement with Raspberry Beret, creates an exciting new partnership with a staple in vintage clothing,” said Jameson Brown, chairman and CEO of The Hamilton Company. “Additionally, our partnership ensures that a popular retailer location remains in Allston.”
Owner, Rachael Bankey represented the tenant, Raspberry Beret, during the leasing negotiations. The Hamilton Company was represented by Carol Rash – THC’s director of commercial property & asset management.
Founded in 2004 by Brookline native Rachael Bankey, Raspberry Beret established its first store in Wakefield and now has locations in Cambridge and Allston. Both locations allow for consignment by appointment and on a seasonal basis. The Allston store offers “fun, casual styles and vintage from the 70’s – 00’s” as well as apartment-sized furniture and houseware.
“Raspberry Beret has been a wonderful addition to Allston,” Rash said. “We are thrilled to ensure that the store remains in Allston for their vibrant customer base.”
