WinnDevelopment hires Goldenfarb as senior vice president

Boston, MA WinnCompanies has hired Abby Goldenfarb as a senior vice president for WinnDevelopment. Goldenfarb previously spent more than two decades with Trinity Financial in Boston, where she has led complex new construction and adaptive reuse projects across New England.

“Abby will immediately become a key leader for the team serving New England, our most active development market,” said WinnDevelopment president Adam Stein. “Her track record, reputation and range of expertise align perfectly with the opportunities we have in front of us. We’re excited to have her on board.”

Her notable major neighborhood revitalization projects include the development of the Avenir and One Canal St. in Boston’s Bulfinch Triangle, as well as the historic adaptive reuse of Appleton Mills and 110 Canal St. in Lowell.

Overall, Goldenfarb managed teams responsible for more than $1.4 billion in total project costs, comprising the creation of more than 2,300 apartment homes and 100,000 s/f of commercial space.

Goldenfarb holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in history from Wellesley College. She serves on the Massachusetts Board of Directors for NAIOP, now known as the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
