Intercontinental Real Estate Corp. appoints Ruhmann as chief operating officer
Boston, MA According to Intercontinental Real Estate Corp. (Intercontinental), Sean Ruhmann has joined the firm as chief operating officer. In his role as chief operating officer, Ruhmann will partner closely with Intercontinental’s senior leadership team to help strengthen the firm’s operating platform and support its continued development over the long term. He joins Intercontinental with the mutual expectation that he will grow into the role of president over time.

Ruhmann has spent his career at some of the world’s most respected companies (IBM, Goldman Sachs, NEPC, and TA Realty), with experience both within and beyond institutional real estate. He has served in senior roles across investment management, portfolio construction, fund formation, capital markets, and firm operations. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his disciplined approach to risk management, operational excellence, and collaborative leadership.
