Nick Gaddar

Scarborough, ME Landry/French Construction has appointed Nick Gaddar as director of business development. Bringing nearly 15 years of construction experience, including the past 10 years with Landry/French, Gaddar will transition into a client-facing leadership role focused on developing new relationships, supporting existing clients, and helping owners successfully navigate the earliest stages of their projects. During his time at Landry/French, Gaddar has held a variety of project leadership positions, most recently serving as a senior project manager overseeing complex projects from preconstruction through closeout. His experience working alongside owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners provides him with a firsthand understanding of the decisions, challenges, and collaboration required to deliver a project successfully.

“Nick has earned the confidence of our clients through his leadership, professionalism, and commitment to delivering successful projects,” said Kevin French, CEO of Landry/French Construction. “He understands what it takes to move a project from an idea to a finished building, and that experience gives him a unique perspective as he begins working with owners during the earliest phases of project development. We’re excited to have someone with his operational background helping clients explore opportunities and plan for success.”

Over the course of his career, Gaddar has led a diverse portfolio of projects across higher education, municipal, housing, and hospitality markets. His experience includes Colby College’s Mayflower Hill Residence Hall, as well as new public safety facilities for the communities of Augusta, Berwick, Yarmouth, Scarborough, and Wells. Managing projects of varying sizes and complexities has strengthened his expertise in preconstruction planning, budgeting, scheduling, constructability reviews, risk management, and collaborative project delivery.

In his new role, Gaddar will work closely with clients throughout Maine and the Northeast, connecting them with Landry/French’s resources and expertise. By partnering with the company’s preconstruction and operations teams from the outset, he will help owners evaluate project goals, identify opportunities, and establish a clear path from planning through construction.

“I’m looking forward to continuing to build relationships in a new way,” said Gaddar. “One of the things I’ve always enjoyed most about this industry is working with people to solve problems and bring their vision to life. Having managed projects for nearly a decade, I understand the value of listening, communicating openly, and helping clients make informed decisions from the very beginning. I’m excited to bring that perspective to this role.”

Gaddar’s appointment reflects Landry/French’s belief that the strongest client relationships are built by people who understand construction firsthand. His transition from project management to business development reinforces the company’s commitment to providing owners with knowledgeable partners who understand their goals, challenges, and the process required to deliver successful projects.
