South Shore Plaza to welcome Fogo de Chão in spring 2027

Braintree, MA South Shore Plaza is bringing one of the world’s most celebrated restaurant brands to the South Shore.

The shopping, dining and lifestyle destination is welcoming Fogo de Chão, the Brazilian steakhouse known for its churrasco dining experience, to open at South Shore Plaza in spring 2027. The addition marks another milestone in the property’s continued evolution as one of New England’s destinations for shopping, dining and entertainment.

Fogo de Chão has built a global reputation on its signature rodizio-style service, where trained gaucho chefs carve premium meats tableside, course after course. Guests can round out the experience at the Market Table, stocked with seasonal salads and fresh vegetables, alongside Brazilian-inspired sides, indulgent desserts, handcrafted cocktails and an award-winning South American wine list.

The new restaurant marks Fogo de Chão’s first South Shore location, joining existing restaurants in the Back Bay, Burlington Mall, and the upcoming location at Northshore Mall. The South Shore Plaza restaurant will feature the brand’s warm, contemporary design, including an inviting bar with dedicated social gathering spaces and a thoughtfully curated dining room designed for everything from family celebrations to business dinners and special occasions.
