We are excited to recognize the women of PSH’s Real Estate team for the expertise, leadership, and perspective they bring to New England’s commercial real estate industry. We’re proud of the depth of experience across our team and the collaborative, client-focused approach each woman brings to her work. Together, they demonstrate the impact women can have across all facets of the commercial real estate industry.

What are you most excited about in your work or the commercial real estate industry right now?
I’m excited by the continued opportunities to use tax credit programs to make challenging real estate projects possible. Historic, low-income housing, New Markets, brownfields, and other housing tax credits can be powerful tools for creating much-needed housing, revitalizing underutilized properties, and bringing new investment to communities. I enjoy finding creative ways to bring these programs together and working with developers to turn projects that might not otherwise be feasible into successful, lasting developments.

What advice or perspective would you share with women building their careers in commercial real estate?
Build your expertise, trust yourself, and don’t be afraid to take up space. Early in my career, I learned that in order to be taken seriously as often the only woman – and the youngest – in the room, preparation and confidence were key. Knowing the details inside and out, asking thoughtful questions, and speaking up even when it feels uncomfortable builds credibility. Just as importantly, use your seat at the table to make room for others.

What has helped shape the way you approach your work and career?
My early experiences in counseling and mental health work shaped the way I approach my career: with empathy, curiosity, and a focus on problem-solving. Those experiences taught me to listen carefully, understand different perspectives, and advocate for others – skills that translate naturally to my work as an attorney. Commercial real estate also requires the ability to navigate complex issues while keeping the bigger picture in mind. I’ve found that combining careful analysis with a practical, collaborative approach is essential to serving clients effectively.
