What has helped shape the way you approach your work and career?
One lesson that has shaped the way I approach my work is that you get more bees with honey. In an industry where so many people and moving pieces have to come together, relationships, communication, and collaboration are essential. There are certainly times when you need to be firm and protect your clients’ interests, but I’ve learned that being flexible and giving people grace often leads to better outcomes. Rather than focusing on what went wrong or who fell short, I try to focus on understanding the situation, finding a solution, and moving forward together.
