What advice or perspective would you share with women building their careers in CRE?
First, stay curious and adaptable, enhancing your knowledge of markets, financing, tech, development, and investment. Be intentional about building relationships, not just a résumé, and seek mentorship and guidance among those you most admire – but remember to define success on your own terms, so your career path and goals are uniquely yours. Knowing your own value is key, so you can negotiate vigorously for compensation, advancement, and opportunity. Finally, pay it forward: Your experience and influence can be leveraged to create opportunities for the women coming up behind you.
