Habitat for Humanity to reduce water heating costs up to 40% in 2009

RenewABILITY Energy Inc, manufacturer of the Power-Pipe Drain Water Heat Recovery (DWHR) system and Habitat for Humanity Canada has launched a national program that will reduce the cost of water heating by up to 40% in new homes built by Habitat for Humanity Canada in 2009. DWHR is an affordable, turnkey heat recovery technology that reduces water heating costs by 20-40%. Natural Resources Canada said that water heating is the second largest energy use in Canadian single and multi-residential properties.
