Spotlights
The Chapter is holding its annual golf outing on Thursday, May 14th at Turner Hill in Ipswich. The golf outing was held here last year and has been a popular location. The golf outing will accommodate 24 slots and will feature a "shotgun" format. The outing will commence at 11:30 a.m. and conclude with a reception after all teams have completed the course. A box lunch will be served; carts will be provided with food and beverage circulating the course.
In 2005, Travel + Leisure Golf ranked Turner Hill as "One of the 10 Best New Private Courses in the U.S." Spanning 7,021 yards, this award-winning, 18 hole championship course was designed by Hurdzan/Fry, a highly respected firm in the field of golf course design. The course preserves and promotes the area's breathtaking, natural surroundings offering a balance of dramatic and challenging play. The clubhouse at the Mansion features a game room with bowling alley, private men's and women's locker rooms, the Mansion Club Restaurant and the Members Grille overlooking 3 holes of golf where SIOR has held its receptions. Thank you to John Cissel and Jim Boudrot for arranging the outing.
Further information will follow to members via email.
