Interior renovations are near completion at the Ashworth by the Sea Hotel located at 295 Ocean Blvd. on Hampton Beach. Pro Con Inc. is the architect and construction manager for the $900,000 design build renovation of the hotel's lounge and restaurant.
The interior renovations include the re-design and re-fresh of the lounge and restaurant. The area is receiving new interior finishes including wall coverings, custom millwork, carpeting, wood flooring, furniture, new windows and lighting. The service bar is being enlarged with a granite counter and a new raised stone hearth fireplace.
Pro Con Inc. has implemented a 2-phased construction schedule, enabling the hotel to remain fully operational during the renovations. The first phase began in January and was completed in March and the second phase is scheduled to be complete this month.
This is the third major renovation the hotel has undergone. In May 2007, Pro Con completed interior renovations to the hotel's lobby, 105 guest rooms, corridors, restrooms & fitness room and in 2008, the Sand Bar on the hotel's outside upper deck was completely renovated.
The Ashworth by the Sea is owned by Schleicher and Stebbins Hotels and is operated by Colwen Management Co.
