Westbrook, ME Construction crews are hard at work framing Stroudwater Lodge Senior Living Community. Construction manager, PROCON of Manchester, N.H., teamed up on the project with the developer, Northbridge Companies of Burlington, Mass. and The Sandy River Co. of Portland, ME. Gawron Turgeon Architects of Scarborough designed the 95-apartment senior living community. The new center is located at 116 Landing Rd., off Spring St. with access to I-95 and minutes from downtown Portland. Preliminary site work began in November, 2015 – followed by the foundation placement that was completed in December. Currently, exterior framing is about 90% finished, and work crews are halfway through the interior framework.
PROCON’s project manager said, “As a whole, we have a great group of subcontractors, who are focused on the schedule, and are meeting or exceeding the critical completion dates for the work.”
Stroudwater Lodge offers residents a new standard of living for the next generation of seniors with numerous onsite amenities for their convenience.
The 90,848 s/f community is part of the Stroudwater Landing campus and adjacent to Avita of Stroudwater that opened in 2013.
