The RI Green Building Council will be hosting the second in a series of monthly educational seminars for LEED Accredited Professionals, Green Associates and others, but especially those who need to complete their 15-30 hours of credential maintenance.
This "onsite interactive webinar" is titled, LEED for New Construction Credit by Credit Review - Water Efficiency and Innovative Design. It is geared toward master planners, engineers, architects, contractors, government officials and others involved in managing water-related issues for green building projects where water conservation - inside and out—is a priority.
Learning objectives include: Understanding prerequisites, credit intents and requirements for LEED for New Construction and Major Renovation projects to achieve Water Efficiency and Innovation in Design credits; learning about specific Regional Priority credits; recognizing potential strategies including integrated design executed by an inclusive project team; learning key metrics and standards; understanding basic LEED documentation considerations and becoming aware of tools and additional resources for applying Water Efficiency and Innovative Design credits.
