RICABOR annual meeting and installation of officers held October 1

The RI Commercial and Appraisal Board of Realtors (RICABOR) hosted their annual meeting and installation of 2014 officers and directors on October 1, at the Quidnesset Country Club. Michael Walker, senior project manager for the RI Economic Development Agency was a guest speaker. Also joining the group was Veronica McManus, who spoke on the Realtor benefits of the Commercial Realtors Property Resource. Jeffrey Butler, of RE/MAX Commercial was sworn as the 2014 president.
Butler stated that his goals include enhanced member services in specialty education, expansion of the RI Commercial Information Exchange and outreach to business partners for affiliate membership involvement.
At that event, RICABOR past president Richard Berlinsky of Equity Advisory Group in East Greenwich, was honored as the Realtor of the Year. In addition, Berlinsky received recognition for his accomplishments from the Rhode Island Association of Realtors, as statewide Realtor of the Year on October 24, at the Rhode Island Association of Realtors Annual Meeting held at Alpine Country Club.
